St. Kitts and Nevis Outlines Official Guidelines for Citizenship by Investment Process

The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) of St. Kitts and Nevis has released its updated step-by-step application guide, reaffirming the Federation's commitment to transparency, security, and global compliance.
Under official regulations, applicants cannot submit dossiers directly to the government. The process begins with selecting a licensed Authorized Agent listed on the official CIU portal, who is legally authorized to guide applicants, prepare documentation, and submit files to the Unit. All applicants and dependants aged 16 or over must undergo rigorous background due diligence checks and complete a mandatory virtual or in-person interview.
Upon receiving an 'Approval in Principle' from the CIU, applicants must complete their qualifying investment. The primary pathway is the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC), designed to support national green initiatives and economic diversification in St. Kitts and Nevis. Other approved pathways include certified real estate developments and public benefit options.
