National Biometric Enrolment & Passport Modernisation Programme Launched in St. Kitts and Nevis

The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has officially launched its National Biometric Enrolment and Passport Modernisation Programme, taking a major step forward in aligning the Federation's travel documents with international security standards.

Under the new security mandate, every citizen who obtained citizenship through the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme, including all dependants and children, is required to undergo biometric enrolment. This process is strictly a passport modernization effort and does not impact your citizenship status in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Citizens have until 31 July 2027 to complete their enrolment. After this deadline, old passports that have not undergone biometric registration will no longer be accepted for international travel. Appointments must be booked through an Authorised Agent. The process takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes, during which fingerprinting, facial scans, and digital signatures will be collected. Biometric collection centres are operating across the Federation and at various consular offices globally to assist overseas citizens.
